Vascular & Interventional

Radiology

Vascular and Interventional radiology (VIR) is a subspecialty which utilizes image guidance to perform minimally invasive, vascular and non-vascular procedures to treat a wide range of diseases.

Our Vascular and Interventional radiologists are board certified and fellowship trained to treat diseases in nearly every organ system. Madison Radiologists’ Vascular and Interventional physicians are committed to treating patients using the least invasive techniques in order to minimize risk to the patient and improve clinical outcomes. These procedures tend to incur less risk, less pain and less recovery time in comparison to open surgery.
