Special Interests and Expertise: Percutaneous and minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment of arterial, venous and nonvascular conditions, including varicose veins. Diagnostic and therapeutic techniques employed include angiography, angioplasty, arterial embolization including the treatment of uterine fibroids, vascular and nonvascular stents, imaging-guided biopsies, catheterizations, and drainages; transjugular intrahepatic porto-systemic shunts (TIPS), gastrostomy tube placement, central venous access placement, percutaneous pain management, including spinal nerve injections.
